3. Networking features
|

HiPath 4000 can be connected to public and private networks via wide variety of protocols including analog, TDM and IP trunks using standard protocols such as QSIG, native SIP and other open interfaces like CSTA. Hipath 4000 also enables the creation and operation of efficient, homogeneous and economical global communication networks. HiPath Networking can be performed via ISDN or IP always with the full CorNet NQ feature offering. CorNet NQ is a signaling protocol for private network solutionsbased on Siemens standards. It is aligned with the international Q.SIG private network protocol for private networks.
SIP-Q based networking provides full feature offering in any networking scenario between HiPath 4000 and in combination with OpenScape Voice. With HiPath 4000 V5 the SIP based IP Networking is the preferred, secure and future oriented standard networking mechanism.
